Weeks ago, I was challenged by my friend Charity McNair as I call her, to make something, blog about it, and then give it to someone. Now, I am not crafty. I shouldn't say I'm NOT crafty...it just overwhelms me. I don't knit because there's too much yarn to choose from. I don't scrapbook because there's way too many papers, stickers, ribbons, decals, etc. that quite literally throw me into a state of panic. SO, the other day when my friend Becky asked me if I wanted to bead with her and her sisters, I started to sweat. Visions of wire, pliers, and piles of beads danced through my head taunting me. When we met at the bead store, they walked out with packets galore of beads. I walked out with one spool of Tiffany blue ribbon. Then, the other day, I came across THIS website and I was inspired. I loved the look of all of the jewelry....so chunky, so vintage, and SO me! So, back to the bead store I went and voila!! Look what we have. I love it and loved it even more when I put it on this morning with my vintage lace top. SO, McNair, there you have it....handmade and I blogged about it, but I'm sorry...I can't part with it. Is there a penalty if I don't follow all the rules?

It's beautiful. I wouldn't part with it either. Now you're going to start getting requests to make them for people. - MCNR
